Judy has been
involved with Morgan Horses for the past
14years. Prior to wokring with morgan horse,
Jusdy spent the preivwous 34 years showing
thoroughbreds on the Illinois Hunter and
Jumper ciruit just west of Chicago. Judy
says she actually discovered morgans by
accident and thta she wished she had
discovered them sooner. When Kelly move to
Oklahoma from Califoronia, Judy was her
first client. Judy and Kelly showed together
in 2003 at Tulsa and the Grand Nationals.
Judy had bought "I'll Drink to That" a horse
that Kelly broke, trained and won a reserve
World Championship when the mare was three
years old. At the 2003 Grand National horse
show, Judy bought "JLH Grand Marnier", "Markie"
from Kelly. During 2004, under Kelly's
instruction, Judy won her first blue ribbons
(actually several blue ribbons), and
numerous championships with "Markie." Judy
fell in love with "Gulfwind Sir William" and
now has three of his offspring. "Gulfwind
Tre' Sor," RJH Let's Get To IT," and "Round
To It Sudusky." "Gulfwind Tre' Sor" hs been
in training with Kelly. RJH Let's Get To
IT," and "Round To It Sudusky go to school
later this year and hopefully start showing
next year.
When not going to the horse shows, Judy
enjoys hanging around with her 23 dogs and
12 horses. All but two fo the dogs are
rescues. Two of the horses are rescues. Also
enjoying their pentions are "Markie" and a
32 year old thorobred from Judy's Hunter
Jumper days in Chicago.
Judys has been a psychiatric registered
nurse for the past 25 years. She and husband
Harry have been married for 35 years and
reside in Jasper, Missouri. They have a
daughter, Heather, who is married and living
in Chicago. Judy and Harry have been
involved with horses for their entire 35
year marriage and even in the years before.
For 20 plus years they did clinical
laboratory work on most of the race horses
in Chicago. After moving their business to
Missouri they decided to more for their
equine athlete companians. They now hold a
patent and manufacture hyalaronic acid,
anti-inflamitory product for horses. They
are constantly doing research and
developement on new products that will help
our equine athlets do their best in the show
arena, race track, dressage arena an
eventing course. |
