Rachael Heliker
(aka Rachael Lindsay) began Riding with Ann
Woulfe-Miller in 1993, highlights include
showing Festival Fan Dancer to multiple wins
throughout California in English Pleasure
and Saddleseat Equitation. Regional wins in
Classic
Pleasure Driving, Riding and Road Hack with
various horses. Multiple top 10's at
Nationals with Mantic Desiree, Festival
Jazzman, AW Wishful Thinking, O to Be Blue,
RWF Miss Saigon. Rachael worked with Ann
doing everything from Bookkeeping to halter
breaking foals to packing trunks and
grooming. Although she has only owned one
horse, HVK Lady of Troy, she was truly
blessed by Frank and Ann Miller, as well as
George and Joan Arnold of Festival Morgans
to be allowed to show, lease, and borrow
their wonderful horses.
In 2001 started the Morgan Horse Youth Club
in San Diego, AFMY, acted as first
President, won Regional Youth of the Year
and competed at Nationals in the Youth of
The Year Competition. AFMY, won best cover
for 3 years under Rachael's guidance.
Rachael has been active in the Morgan
community working with the Morgan Horse Club
of San Diego County, as treasurer and
co-chair of the Diamond Jubilee Horse Show.
Rachael also catch-rode for Michelle
MacFarlane of Scripps Miramar Ranch. She has
shown Western, Hunt Seat, Carriage, Pleasure
Driving, Park Harness and Saddle, and
English/Classic Pleasure both Morgans and
Saddlebreds.
Rachael currently works as an Accounting
Software consultant. She is married to Arick,
a heavy equipment Operator in the US Navy
Seabee's, and they have a beautiful baby
girl, Lindsay Ann Heliker whom debuted in
Leadline at the 2009. She has 2 annoying but
adorable boxer dogs: Duke and Dixie.
Rachael does not currently own a horse, but
does lease and adore 'Dolce Gabanna'. Gabby
is a 3 year old western filly with a sweet
and smart personality.
Goals include someday winning at
Nationals... and this year getting to
Nationals with Gabby before her Husband is
transferred. |
